I worked along-side a Colusa County Deputy Corona in 1997-2001; I think probably Natalie’s dad. I have a son the same age. On behalf of the people of the State of California, we offer our deepest, unrestrained, heart wrenching sympathies.

You were a smiling face in my morning roll calls. You never questioned why you just did. Natalie, you made all of us want to be better people.
You will be the catalyst of change in this world. You will never be forgotten. We will take it from here.

A bullet pierced the shield today
Though you may never know
That we gave a life for you
While you so softly slept the night away
While you sipped your cup of tea
While you watched your favorite movie,
Or wrote your love a line
Our keep for you will go unseen
Gone like the darkest cloud before the brilliant sun
No payment meets the challenge
Of protecting you from hell
No adoration for one act
Will satisfy our untold tales
That hold you in your safest place,
And protect your fearful mind
The knowledge of a cold dark end
May never reach your door
We walk through fear
Moving right into the fray
Though you may never know of us
Or much more, that one has fallen far away
So bring on the choirs of heaven’s peace
And send us to our loving source
We ask only to do well
The deeds that we must do
Even if the last deed done
Was done for only you

Rest in Peace sister and watch over us.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Such a selfless, beautiful, young woman. Sacrificed her life, serving the community and helping others. Todays climate towards police officers makes me absolutely sick. My daughter is a police officer, very close to the same age as Officer Corona and I cannot even begin to imagine the hurting hearts of her parents, family and loved ones. God bless her angelic soul and God bless her parents. My heart aches....

I am a former police officer here in North Carolina. I am truly, truly hurt by this senseless act of violence. I know that people don't always have a favorable opinion or view of police, but we're the first ones called when something goes wrong. Please support your local law enforcement. Rest in peace Officer Corona.

Gut wrenching grief...no other words can describe how I feel.....Merced, please know that Natalie is an Angel in Heaven now, an Angel of the highest order. I am grateful for her life and her sacrifice.....I wish all people felt Natalie's call to service...her desire to help....this world would be a much better place with people like Natalie everywhere. But she is special among us...a rare breed of human that cares more for others than herself. I don't know anyone in your family but I know you all built her into the person she was, and for that, this country owes you and your family gratitude for a debt that can never be repaid. It is you, your wife, and all of Natalie's family that I pray for...you all must continue on without her...for now.....but know that she is here, with you, every step of the way. I will never forget the picture of her holding the thin blue line flag...it is burned into my memory forever. May god bless you all....Natalie, rest easy my beautiful warrior, we will take it from here.

I find it nearly impossible to express my deep sorrow at this tragedy. This murder is of a heinous evil that only comes from the Seventh Circle of Hell. My love and prayers go to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Corona, and to all First Responders worldwide.

Officer Corona, you are true hero and an inspiration to all decent, freedom-loving people. I am infinitely grateful you were willing to apply your knowledge, skill, and effort to protect the peace of our nation. Your name will be held with the deepest honor for generations. Thank you for your service to the City of David and the State of California.

Our world is a better and safer place because you were in it.
Our world is darker and more dangerous because your life was taken away by evil incarnate.

Dearest Officer Corona - words cannot express the pain I feel in my heart over the loss of such a beautiful life, so young to this world and with so much to give. THANK YOU for your heart of giving and service. It is so tragic. You were sworn in along with my daughter, Christina, who is also on the David Police Department, also just 22.
She, too, has been hit very hard by your death and will miss you. Much love and prayers to your family, the Davis Police Department and all who knew and loved you. We were deprived. God Bless.
