What terrible news. Rest in Peace Officer Corona.

To borrow some beautiful words from a fallen President: "I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your family's bereavement, and leave only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be your father's to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. Yours, very sincerely and respectfully, A. Lincoln."

Grateful citizen (from Sacramento) here. Just read about the senseless, pointless, horrible murder in the news. Many condolences to the ones left behind. For Police Officer Natalie Corona, so much gratitude that you were willing to stay awake, so that the rest of us could sleep. Rest In Peace.

Very sad, as all these deaths are. This one however is really painful with her dad pinning her badge on after his retirement and now he, along with his family, have gone from one of their proudest moments to an all time low in such a short time. May she Rest In Peace and May God look over this family, this department and all of those who serve in law enforcement.

Things are out of control in this Country. People are becoming desensitized to Police Officer Assassinations and the Killing of our Military on Foreign soil. I pray for ALL the Men & Woman that have made the ultimate sacrifice. May God Bless You and May God Bless your families. So young with so much to give and so much to live. May you feel the comfort of Angels Wings upon your Soul. God Bless You Natalie....... you are with God Now. Pray for us.....we need it !

Officer Corona, I will never have the prevelige of ever knowing you, because your young life was taken for no real reason. But the occupation you chose as a police officer is and always will be one of pride and honor. Somehow members of law enforcement always have a connection to each other simply because we wear a badge that stands for what we believe in. The smile on your face tells me you had a love for the job and the people you served. I want the people who read this to know you did your job to protect members of a government that would rather hug a thug than show you any respect . Officer Corona you will now and forever be. remembered. as a true American Hero . Also know that the California State government you swore to protect, will from now and until the end of time will be remembered as the cowards they are. I know when my time comes and if God allows me into heaven we will meet. Officer Corona may peace be with you. Sister you rest easy , we will take it from here . Prayers to you ,your family and to your blue family.
