Doing what every new cop does, goes out and gets the bad guys... Getting a bad guy like that doesn't happen to most cops in their career and he did it after only 3 months... Unfortunately his best was his last... That's the kind of officer every family, police dept and city should be proud of...a proud salute to the "new guy".. Your brothers and sisters in Canada stand beside you.

Detective Constable Jeff Capener
Durham Police Gun and Gang Task Force

God bless Trooper Casper"s family, and friends. He has ended his watch here on earth but begins his watch with our father. Having better position to watch over his brothers and sisters who still carry out their duty's. You will not be forgotten. God Bless.

You stopped the bad guy. He will never steal from anyone or hurt anyone ever again. I am angry at what happened to you. You were just beginning your career. You were too young to die, especially the way you did. You will be remembered with honor. I grieve for your family, your friends and your fellow troopers.
