My heart breaks for Trooper Casper and his family. A young life snuffed out way too soon. But such bravery was shown and I feel so much safer here in Fond du Lac knowing there are those who willingly put their lives on the line every day to protect us. I can't thank you enough for your service. Only God knows how many other lives you saved yesterday. Rest in Peace, forever grateful.......

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Sir Edmund Burke

It saddens my heart once again to hear that one of the best has fallen protecting others. There is no higher calling.

Trooper Casper, you answered the call to not allow evil to prevail. "Thank You" for your unrelenting determination to bring this criminal to justice. You definitely proved beyond the shadow of a doubt you possess the "Warrior Spirit" required to protect others. Because of your courage and sacrifice this criminal will never harm another.

My condolences to Trooper Casper's family. Please be proud and know in your heart that you raised an honorable young man, willing to make a difference when others when just stand by, and do nothing. I know there are no words that can bring comfort at this time, but please know that my prayers are with you. May God, grant you with Peace in your time of grief and pain.

Twenty one years old.....three months on the street.....and some gutless murdering coward shoots and kills this brave young warrior. Trooper Casper I mourn your death and I pray for you and your family... however I have the satisfaction of knowing that you were able to return fire and remove the scum that killed you from the face this earth. The stairway to heaven opened up for you while your killer took the highway to hell. Rest in peace....I am angry and so sorry this happened to you.
