Reflections for Corporal Jamel Leon Clagett

Rest in peace.

Sgt. Jim Russo

December 22, 2014

God bless his family, Law enforcement brothers and sisters that knew him and friends. It's such a tragic event especially at this time of year. I know how the ones left behind are feeling right now, for I have just lost my patrol partner ( John Street) myself. I pray for God to embrace your family at this time, as he has done me. God bless

He was a good friend and officer, he will be missed. Just like every other day he made sure he checked on the Communications staff to see if they needed anything before going home. He took them breakfast that morning, which was something he'd do especially when he knew one of us was getting held over. He understood that we were a family and he believed in taking care of family. RIP brother, we have you watch from here.
