Jamel,

Where to begin... we have known each other since high school. Serving on our ROTC drill team together, trips to the Baltimore and college park with the crew. Those were some good times, and we would often reflect on those days now past. Even back then we showed an interest in becoming police officers...
We achieved our goal, both joining the sheriff's office, you becoming sworn first, then myself a year later. 10 years have gone by since then and it seems so recent. You were a good guy all around. My only regret is not spending more time with you off duty like we did back in our youth. You touched so many people in such a positive way. You will be missed my friend. Godspeed #447

Rest in Peace brother...Many blessings to the family, friends and communities in Maryland and Virginia who were blessed with his work and commitment to help others. The morning of his passing, he bought breakfast for the dispatchers and office staff, as was a tradition for him. Always caring for those in Charles County, MD, the community he served; and backing up his law enforcement brothers and giving to the community across the Potomac River, in his home county of King George, VA, whenever they needed help. God Bless
