Jason you were my friend and colleague. I will never forget the service you gave to the people you served. You worked harder than anyone to be a forest service officer. I remember how we sit and talked about us leaving local law enforcment to further our careers. You made the decision to work in forestry to get that seed planted. Please know that we will never forget you and your dedication to our community.

Rest in Peace my Brother.

Jason lived his life to protect those that he did not know. He gave his life doing the same. Those who knew Jason were blessed having known him, and that is a legacy we can all hope to leave behind.

May the Lord grant peace and comfort to your family and friends, for you already stand in His Presence.
