Earlier this month, Trooper Deatherage volunteered to represent the Illinois State Police during a deployment to assist the victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey. I was fortunate to get to work with him in New Jersey. Trooper Deatherage was an asset to the ISP and will be sorely missed. RIP Brother
