I don't know the words to reflect on this great tragedy of a young man. But I can tell you I had the pleasure of meeting him and working with him. I remember him distinctly while he worked at the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Kyle was a very nice and polite young man. May God bless his family and help them during this time.

Kyle emulated what every officer strives to be, was the type of friend everyone wants to have, was the father each child deserves and kind of husband each woman should have.

He will be sorely missed in the LEO world.

To Trooper Deatherage:
I am so sorry for what has happened to you, you were in the prime of your life with your family. Mere words cannot describe the devastation that your wife and kids are going thorough. Try to punch a hole thru this world to let your family know that you are OK, and at peace.
I salute you Sir, GodSpeed

To the Family:
My heart cries for you, and this time of the year just must make it more than you can bear. Please take some comfort with the knowledge that all of us care so much. I am so deeply sorry...
