Kyle,

You are more than an officer killed in the line of duty, you were my friend. You represented the ethics and image of the ideal officer. I've never heard anyone speak a poor word about you, and your presence will be missed. I can assure you and your family that myself, along with hundreds of other officers will think of you daily, as you will be truly missed. Your death will not be in vein, as your loss will be in the back of all of our minds as we continue to dawn the uniform daily, and we will be safer for just thinking of you. Rest easy and Godspeed. We've got your back.
