I did not know Mike that long and met him through a cousin but in the short time I did know him he was an outstanding guy who loved his job. I was one of the lucky few to have had the pleasure of knowing him before this senseless and cowardly act took his life so tragically. Every time I would run into him he was always in a good mood and had a story to tell about the job that he loved so much. He died doing what he was trained to do, loved to do and that was to protect and serve. Mike you will be deeply missed by myself and everyone else who's life you have touched in just those short 32 years of your life. To the brothers you leave behind my thoughts and prayers are with you and so are millions of others. On behalf of the Fairview Emergency Response Unit and my own family my deepest condolences. Mike may you R.I.P. and do what you do best up there and keep smiling kid you did a good job.
