I agree with the person that wrote, " God places police officers here to protect His children.... " Those who uphold the laws, and those that respect and pray for our officers that protect us as we walk through this evil world.
I can not say anything to comfort anyone.... I know that... but I can pray.... Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.... there are two children and a wife that miss their loved one.... along with many more....
This is no longer a child friendly, woman friendly, family friendly, police officer (our earthly help -protectors) friendly, animal friendly, marriage friendly ....... world.... The devil's time is very limited, thank God !
My prayer is lifted to you all and your jobs and your families right now..... as I continue myself along with others to pray for Jesus to return, even so come back quickly Lord Jesus.. As one Sgt. said, YOU ALL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE>>>> Please know that you are loved and appreciated to the ut-most !
AMen...and Amen... Rapture ready, watching and waiting...

I just heard the news of your sacrifice as I was in roll call tonight and my heart goes out for you and your family. I can not stop thinking of my own sons and it is heartbreaking that you were taken from your wife and son because of one person's selfish and twisted decision. I will keep your family in my prayers and I know you will be receiving reward for your duty and love of man for your ultimate sacrifice in Heaven. God speed my brother!

There are too many of our officers making the ultimate sacrifice. With each one comes a loyal group of brothers and sisters who become more determined to not allow that death be in vain. No one outside this group can understand the bond and the pain they feel for each other whether they knew them personally or not. Faith is all they have to keep on doing their job as they do. Nothing can make it easier for the family left behind or for the coworkers but the prayers of many who care can help us try to make a difference in these lives and our unpredictable and dangerous world.

Thank you Deputy Bellar for your service. I know there are more brothers and sisters in blue who were waiting to greet you, my husband being one of them.

Mrs Bellar, I know you have a great group of people who will always be there for you any time of the day or night. Lean on them now and in the future as you need each other.

I will pray for all of you.

Widow of NYSP Investigator

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want, His comforting hand reduces fear to naught; He makes me walk through streets of crime, But He gives me courage and peace of mind.
He leads me by still waters in the path I trod, And He says in Romans I'm a "minister of God," He leads me in righteousness as He restores my soul, For His name's sake He keeps me whole.
When I walk through death's valley, right up to the door, I will fear no evil, for He comforts me more; For Thou art with me every step of the way, As thy rod and thy staff protect me each day.
He prepares a table, especially for me, As I work daily among life's enemies; He gives me authority to uphold the law, And He anoints my position in the midst of it all.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, Each day of my life through eternity; As I long to hear Him say, "Well done...," When I lay down my life, my badge, and my gun
