Man has not the words that will comfort the family at a time like this, especially under these circumstances. This is such a tragic loss. May god strengthen the family of this deputy and the dept wich he served. May the suspects be caught and not have to go thru the lengthy process of a trial and maybe get turned loose. But their career ended as they ended the career of this officer.

My heart goes out to all families that lose the breadwinner while on duty! The criminals deserve the same chance at life that they gave the officer. Release restraints on police officers & allow them to make life & death decisions when it comes to criminals without persecution or question. The criminals don't go by the rules, why should the police. An armed society with criminal corpses laying all over the streets is a polite society. :) An eye for an eye.

This man was my very first patrol sgt. He was as hard as nails but he was a great officer. He was always there for you, worked to no end. Would joke until you couldnt laugh anymore and was dedicated to his family and his job. We all loved him at the sheriff's office in one way or another and we all were appreciative of his service. This senseless murder was a shock to us all. He will be deeply missed.
