Why oh why?? Too many Officer deaths. It makes me embarrased to be a human being.

To Officer Dunn's family:
There are no words of comfort I could possibly say. So unexpected, so sad. I can relate to this in a way as a young widow of a murdered husband. Please stick together as a family at the core of all of this. Each person will be dealing with it in a different way I'm sure, but doing this as a family makes this a little better. May you all find the strength. I am so very sorry.

To Officer Dunn:
I salute you sir, may you keep a watch on your family now, as they need you the most. Thank you ever so much for keeping us all safe. Its a huge sacrifice. You look like one hell of a guy, this shouldnt of happened to you. Rest in Peace and GodSpeed, sir.

Lisa from Western MA.
Caring and concerned friend to all Officers and their families

Sincerest condolences to the family, friends and fellow officers of Officer Andrew Dunn. It is unfortunate that it takes times like these to truly appreciate the risks and sacrifices made by all law enforcement officers on a daily basis in their attempts to protect and serve. Many prayers as well as sincere gratitude go out to the Sandusky PD. You are all that stands between honest citizens and those who would do us harm. God Bless! Carry on!

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
