Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace today.

Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathies goes out to the family and freinds of this fine officer. This officer didnt take her job lightly, but the powers that be did. Her death was the result of a lack of care and concern by the WA State Assembly, the Governor, and the DOC Secretary. It was the drastic cuts in the DOC budget which caused the operations at all facilities to operate on skeleton crews. We have been begging for the state not to touch the budget and they didn't care. Now one of us had to pay the ultimate price. C/O Beindl you will be missed dearly and shame on the powers that be!
