I had the pleasure of knowing Jayme...I wish I knew her better. She was friendly, sweet and above all a no nonsense Officer. We talked many times on the phone during our work shifts I will forever be sad for her family and my blue families loss. What a sensless loss it is felt by those who do not even know her.Today was the most memoriable day of my life...If you do not feel this loss I question if you have a heart....

This short time since your passing has saddened our community to its core. We grieve for you, for the loss of you, one of our own. Time has elapsed quickly since your passing and I find you at the forefront of my mind often. You remind me that each moment is precious. That each relationship with loved ones is to be fostered and cherished because we never really know how much time we have left with anyone. We work in a tough and uncertain environment and it took your life. I am thankful to you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. May you rest in peace and be at ease knowing you will never be forgotten. I never met you nor worked with you but have heard enough to know that we should all try to be as professional as you were day in and day out. I have never worn blue, always been non custody, but I see what you all go through on a daily basis in the trenches behind the wall. I respect you for giving it your all and will continue my respect for you all to ensure the memory of you, Jayme Biendl, a hero, is never forgotten.

Corrections Officer Jayme Lee Biendl:

The law officer and the corrections officer are faced with encountering myriad situations that endanger their person. Sometimes the lone officer is especially in peril even when it is believed by others the situation is safe. Our sister Jayme, having been slain by one of the very individuals she is sworn to control and protect, stands-out as one who is exceptionally brave and well-deserving of honor. She accepted the duty that would give many pause, and we regret that she would lose her life in process. We now rely upon our court system to bring forth a brand of justice that can ensure that others will not hesitate to step into her place.

We pray for Jayme's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about her. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

I am proud to render Corrections Officer Jayme Biendl a final salute.

A Warriors Soul

The thread of life is thin
The line we walk is narrow
For those who choose to Protect and Serve
There's sometimes pain and sorrow

One thing we can surely know
God is in control
And to those He leads along this path
He gives a Warrior's Soul

Often times it takes its toll
This battle against evil
We give our lives to this cause
So truth and goodness will prevail
There is no doubt we pay a price
It taxes a body and mind
Though sometimes we feel invincible
There are casualties you'll find

The loss of one who joins this fight
Is not easy to console
No death affects the world as great
As to lose one with a Warrior's Soul

But one day we will meet again
After that final fight
When the darkness of evil will finally give way
To God's everlasting light

A special place God has prepared
One filled with joy and bliss
And many treasures Heaven holds
For a Warrior such as this.

You are a true hero. I served over 30 years in law enforcement and always thought of those working in our jail and prison systems across this country to be the bravest individuals on earth. To be locked up with the scum of the earth takes someone with courage beyond what the normal person has. Thank you for your service in keeping others safe. Keep watch over all of your loved ones and close friends. You will never be forgotten.

Romans 13:1 1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
4. For he is gods minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; fir he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practice evil.

I thank the lord for blessing us with her 8 year servitude. It is a very noble and dangerous job but without people like her our community would have no justice. It is sad to hear an innocent life was lost. May the lord's peace and comfort be upon her fellow officers, family, and friends. She will be missed but the life she lived should be remembered and not forgot. I pray that the lord may strengthen those who know and miss her whom can not bear the pain. May Jesus Christ carry the burden for you and draw you near him. These times are when we need the Lord our God the most indeed. god bless. Thank you for your service Jayme
