Reflections for Police Officer Christopher Anthony Matlosz

Officer Matlosz, you made the ultimate sacrifice. It doesnt matter how far we are from each other, we as brother and sisters officers mourn and thank you for giving your life. You have now joined many of my brother and sister officers, they welcomed you with open arms, fore you earned your right to heaven. You now are watching over all of us, we promise to never forget you and to continue "to protect and serve" in your name and the names of many who have fallen before you. God Bless You, your family and the Lakewood Police Department.

I never want to hear about an officer down, but it is always worse when it's someone you know. We never know the reason behind the bad things in life, though we are told everything happens for a reason. I wish I knew the reason this officer had to lose his life in the line of duty. All I can pray for and hope is that there is a greater meaning to 'why's of our lives.
