Blessed are the peacekeepers, for they are the best a nation has to offer. The Thin Blue Line is too thin at times. Rest in peace, my brother, for your watch is fulfilled.

Chris was so proud to be a member of the Lakewood Police Department and his family was equally proud of his dedication and commitment. Thank you to all LE officers who worked tirelessly to apprehend the subhuman specimen who without an ounce of conscience robbed a man of his life and legacy and deprived his beautiful fiancee Kelly, his family, his many friends and colleagues who loved and valued Chris of the many years he should have been with us. May God bless and keep safe all of you who serve and protect.

Chris you will be deeply missed! You were one of a kind! From our academy days getting demerits together, standing at attention while rest of our class did extra P.T. because of us! All the shifts we worked together. Bringing the toys to the hospital for the kids. The glitter I put in your Christmas cards year after year! All the laughs we had! Your Chief said it the best “You were the BEST of the BEST”. You are looked up to by all! You were taken too soon. You will still be doing what you loved to do LOOKING OVER ALL OF US! Going to Miss you Buddy!!!
