For Detention Officer Leonard Wall:

The responsibilty for tending to prisoners, be they juvenile or anyone else, is not an easy one. Further, the duties often entail handling the worst of the worst inmates, and the potential for assault is ever-present. For our brother Leonard it is again proven that on a daily basis corrections officer live in a high-risk occupation.

We pray for Leonard's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they reach out to one another at the appropriate moments in the most tender and giving manner. And, may they remember Leonard for the moments he brought light into their life.

I am proud to render Officer Leonard Wall a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
