Police Officer Thomas Raji,

Not all our perils lie in the minds of individuals. Sometimes it is accidents that present themselves in every day assignments that can remove us from duty here among those we are sworn to serve and protect. That you have died doing your duty, and while serving others, makes you a hero. We in law enforcement recognize you as a hero among heros because it sends a clear message to all of us that we are not assured that we will see tomorrow's sunrise. In the meantime we will honor you, and those encountering the same fate, by honoring each other as we bid you a final salute. Well done, officer...well done.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
