Oh God. As a wife of a UC that does buy-bust all the time, my heart stopped for a brief second as I read about your murder. There is never a time that we take you for granted. Virginia Beach is a favorite vacation spot for us. Your sacrifice will be honored every time we visit. You will never be forgotten. The thin blue line. My heart aches for your family and friends who love you. Rest in peace and thank you for your service.

Anyone who ever met Mike knew him well. He was the kind of person who when you met him you felt like you knew him your whole life. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have met him several years ago through a mutual friend. We loved it when he came by. We would sit there and swap stories about our military days and funny things that happened over the course of our lives and careers. He was one of the most kind, loving, caring, and giving people I have ever known. He will be missed terribly!!!

I pray for his family! He loved them all so much! Those children had an amazing father, a true hero in so many ways! God bless you Mike for giving your life for us, for or doing your best to make all of our lives better!
