To Ofcr. Smith's family, friends, loved ones, fellow Guam Police Department and Law Enforcement colleagues across America: My sincere and heartfelt condolences to you for your tremendous loss.

I am a Guam native living in Maryland, but I feel your deep sadness, pain, and sorrow so many miles away.

As a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant I know the meaning of serving our country, and in the case of our brave men and women in the police services, providing protection, enforcement, and peace in our communities large and small.

I salute and honor Police Officer Frank Smith for his supreme sacrifice and dedicated service. To the Guam Police Department, thank you for continuing to serve as you go forth with heavy hearts. God bless you, our nation and most especially, the family of Ofcr. Smith.
