Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Frank E. Smith

My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Smith and his family. My father was killed by a drunk driver on 12/09/98 while he was investigating a previous accident involving a drunk driver. These men are heroes and will leave in our hearts forever...
I'm sure that Officer Smith was a very proud man who loved his job and died doing what he loved. He is no longer in harms way. He is now in the safest and most peaceful place ever. God Bless him!

To the Family of Officer Smith

Your complete family are in my families prayers and God bless you. This is a dark time, but there will be days that you smile once again and your heart will not hurt as much. My family is just starting to make it thru it with the death of my future son in-law Josh Norris (EOW Jul 5th 2007). I know you can not see pass the grief right now or believe you can shed so may tears. What has helped my family and may help yours, remember your love ones laugh, his smile and all those things that are unique to him, since they are truly what made him. Frank will always be with you, that gentle wind that dries your tears, that warm feel of an embrace when no one is near is his way of helping you heal.

To Guam Police Department
My brothers this lost will always be felt at roll call, on the road or just talking at a break. For those that were on the scene, understand that nothing you did or things you felt you should have done would have changed this out come, God had called Frank. Like all of us that wear a badge, he knew the risk and like yourself served regardless, mourn your brother, but also dedicate your service in his name by being the best you possible can. Your Department is in my prayers

Out spoke brave Horatio the captain of the gate;
To everyman upon this earth death comes soon or late;
How can man die better than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his father's and the temples of his gods.
Rest easy! Sleep well! The line is held!
You are honored by those who continue in duty.
