My sincere condolences go out to your family, friends, and colleagues. It is sort of ironic how you would be taken on All Saints' Day. If that is any consolation. In the end, Good overpowers Evil.

God bless his soul. He didn't have to go into that Dunkin Donuts. But he did because he cared. We need more good people on Earth like him. Rest in Peace.

I am deeply sad about the loss of yet another brother for no other reason except a low life piece of garbage has no regard for life. I can't express in just a few words how angry I am. I am sick to my stomach about the disguting behavior that is plaguing our society. I pray for Officer Cassidy's family and want them to know that every brother and sister in blue is hurting right now. I wish I had something encouraging to say, but the only thing I have in my heart is anger and hatred for the garbage that continues to run our city streets. God Bless Officer Cassidy and his family.

"A coward turns away, but a brave man's choice is danger."

While this quote describes all law enforcement, it is particularly appropriate here. This warrior ran to the sounds of battle while others ran away. He is a true hero and I salute him for his life and honor him for his sacrifice.
