Hi Uncle Nick,

I just wanted to leave this message for you as your niece and I will be traveling tomorrow. I know we never met in person before but I know you very well as your family has told me so many great stories about you.

Wow!! It's been 5 years since you have been taken from your beautiful family. It only seems like yesterday that my wife (your neice) called me telling me about the horrible news. You would be so proud of your niece. She is currently working at the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehab as a Victim Coordinator taking care of families, just like the family you have. It's great to know your wife Julie and your two boys. They are fantastic children. If they reflect anything like how you were, I know that you were an awesome father, husband, brother, son, uncle, etc. Heidi talks about you all the time. She tells me about all the special times she had with you and Julie and the boys when she was living in Arizona. Sounds like there were a lot of fun times you all had.

Like I said we have never met face to face but I know you very well. Take Care and I love you!!!
