Doug (Scott as we called him) was the epitome of the utmost professional officer. He was meticulous in his uniform, he was tactically sound, and was an awesome investigator. He was an example for all of us to follow. Scott will be missed by all.

Scott was my first phase FTO. To this day, 18 + years later, I still find myself practicing the good officer safety habits and techniques he taught and demanded of me then. I have always felt fortunate the have been mentored by Scott at such a critical time in a young officer's carreer. He truly was an outstanding officer. Scott, thank you for your service to me personally as well our communities. My prayers for you and your family.
