Rich-

Can't believe it has been 13 years. The day is still clear in my mind. Hearing on the radio that Carlo was found next to your ride but you weren't there. Organizing the search with all the other agencies. And hearing the radio call when they found you. I sat in my office and cried for a bit. Couldn't believe it. Then I knew I had a job to do, and you would want me to do it.That day will be with me forever.

You never let me be just your supervisor. I am grateful for the time we had working together and catching some IA's. I have your silent partner card framed and in my office. It is a daily reminder of the dangers of this job- and helps me keep things in perspective.

We still have the watch my friend.

Hard to believe it is the 10th anniversary of your death..it feels like yesterday and forever all at the same time..I still have such a hole in my heart that will never mend until we meet again..It just never seems to get easier! I have gone through all of the reflections on this page and it warms my heart to see you are not forgotten..it angers me that you were taken from us so young..unfortunately we have no control of gods will to take home his angel..just know how much I love you baby brother and miss you dearly, you are in my thoughts and my heart xoxo

My Uncle Richard has received the medal of honor for sacrifice. He is my hero! Today is his birthday-May 11,2016. I have never met him. I'm 13 and I'm very interested in history and family! It's very important! and every day I think how my Uncle R. had received the medal of honor for sacrifice!

It has been many years and I still remember riding with you and Carlo in the BP truck listening to the Mets games on the radio. You were a great FTO and even a greater person. You will always be remembered.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 5th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.
