It never is easy to see the bad guys taking out one of the good guys. The man that did this will now be going to prison for a long time. I guess if he wanted to go to prison so bad he should have just asked. I am nervous every time my husband goes to work. I am conforted by the fact that he loves his job and not many people can say that about their own jobs. Thank you for your service and you not be forgotten. Your family, friends and fellow officers will be in my prayers.

Im gonna miss you Tony, that infectious smile you always had, your sense of humor, and eagerness to learn. May you watch over us from above and protect us all. Our squad will never be the same without you. We truly lost a great person, and you will be forever my hero. Had I known on Sunday 2-18-07, that would have been the last day I saw you, I would have said something meaningful to you. As I sit here writing this to you dealing with all kinds of emotions, I am trying to make sense of a senselss situation, and for that you have paid the ultimate sacrifice. I know you probably wouldn't want us to make a big deal of this and not to start crying. Well I miss you Tony, everybody from the 23D squad, Glendale PD and every officer in the country. May your families find the strength to carry on. Job well done, 10-7 my brother. Until we meet again on the other side, godspeed.
