Officer Holly, I didn't hear of your death until the end of my shift tonight, and when I did, I was on the verge of tears. Your service to the City of Glendale and to the law enforcement community will never be forgotten. Our jobs may be different, but I feel the same pain. God bless you sir.

Rest In Peace , My Thoughts and Prayers go out to you and your family.

"God bless my family when I am away,
Leave the lights on I'll return from harms way,

Grant me courage and strength to protect others each day,
So they live in peace without worry, fear or dismay,

Bless those who have fallen given their life for another
May their spirit live on from then and forever,

Return me home to my family at the end of each night,
May I pass through the door before the morning's first light,

Shall I give my life for another before the dawn breaks today,
God bless my family when I am away.

Officer Holly,
It is always sad when an officer is taken from us. It is even worse when the officer is taken so early in life. You may not have been around long, but you have touched so many lives. All around the country people are mourning your death and praying for your family. You will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace brother

Wow, I still can't believe you are gone. You truly had a heart of gold my brother and I will not soon forget your smile. That smile lit up the whole station everyday that you served and will be dearly missed by all of us who knew and loved you. In my heart, I know that you are now in God's very capable hands. I know that He couldn't wait to tell you, "well done my good and faithful servant". Go with God, rest in peace and may God provide your family with a peace that passes all understanding during this difficult time.

Officer Holly, your bravery shined through today for everyone to see. You are in the thoughts and prayers of all who knew you, loved you, and those who walked beside you. After losing a fellow officer in October 2006, a good friend and co-worker told me, as we searched for answers, What would we learn from losing someone who did not touch our lives? It always seems the "good ones" go too early. To Ofc. Holly's family, friends, and co-workers as you search for answers, open your hearts to knowing Anthony is in a better place. May God bless you all.

Some words for a fallen brother...

"Nine planets round the sun
Only one does the sun embrace
Upon this watered one
So much to we take for granted

So let us sleep outside tonight
Lay down in his mother's arms
For here he can rest safely

If green should slip to grey
Would our hearts still bloody beat
If the mountains crumble away
And the river dry
Would it stop our stepping feet

Whoa let us sleep outside tonight
Lay down in his mother's arms
For here he can rest safely

Take all that we can get
When it's done
Nobody left to bury us
Nobody left to dig the holes
And here he will rest safely

One sweet world
Around this star is spinning
One sweet world
In her breath he is swimming
And here he will rest in peace..."

Rest easy my friend, we've got it from here...

Officer Holly,
Thank you for your committment to a career that is so unpredictable from day to day. The bravery you have demonstrated so often goes unnoticed, until a tragedy occurs.

My most sincere thoughts are with you, your girlfriend and loved ones and to the Glendale PD. You served your community well, far beyond the call of duty.

ASCENSION

And if I go,
While you’re still here---
Know that I live on,
Vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
So you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
…I will be there.
