Hey AJ, it's been 7 long years. You may be gone, but you are not forgotten. Everytime we drive by the memorial both of the boys say hi to you, which is quite amazing because Ryan was only a year old and Tyler was born 2 years after you were killed. Both boys ask questions and we tell them exactly what happened. RIP my friend....

4 years and it seems like it just happened, my gut is in knots just thinking about the day I met you, when they were doing your background check. You had the same smile through the academy and into your career. You worked hard. When I didn't answer the phone, you and your partner show up at my door at 11pm looking for some help on a search warrant !! What balls,, and we went out and did it, and did it well.

That is what the job is all about, and you did your job and then some.

You will never be forgotten, Rest in Peace brother, I am a better person by knowing you.
