Reflections for Constable Dale David Geddie

Those of us fortunate enough to have shared our community with Constable Dale Geddie are grieving for the tragic loss of one our finest men. We knew him to be a hero long ago. He was a rare man, who lived by his principles and loved his fellow man without reserve. He has dedicated his life to serving his God, his family, and his community. My heart goes out to Dale’s family, as do my prayers. May the strong arms of God hold and comfort us all, and may Dale be remembered forever as an example of what a hero truly is.

Dale was a fixture @ the Dirt track on Saturday nights. Always looking out for the kids and willing to help in anyway he could. His smile will be missed but we understand that God needed his help and so he called him home today. His family will be in our hearts and prayers.
He will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Dale

To the family of Constable Dale Geddie, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. The men and women who wear the badge are "hero's" and Dale Geddie was a true hero. I did not have the honor of knowing Constable Geddie but from what I have heard on the news he was a real man of honor and a true friend.

I also have a son who is in law enforcement. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Geddie Family,
Thank you for giving Smith County a wonderful constable, let a lone a wonderful man. I had the honor of meeting Dale in my brothers office (Bill Mc Ginnis) several years ago and found him a friendly, funny and a caring man. I'm so very sorry for your loss. James and Tokey Rossie

As dispatchers, we have a special relationship with the police officers, deputies, and especially constables we work with. They are our family and friends, the people we take care of on a daily basis, although they may not be of any real relation to us. My heart goes out to you, your family and friends, and the family and friends you have at Smith County and elsewhere. Be at peace, God bless you for all you have done, and thank you.

I pray GODS blessing on Constable Geddie's family and brotherhood whom he served with today. Please remember your brother, check on his family, and answer the calls like he would have you do. Cry, when there is sorrow. Always, read these through your tears. Brothers,Do not stay quite. You leave reflections to his family that share personal and funny times with him. We as officers sometimes don't share these enough, and his family deserves those to read in his memory. Thank You, Constable Geddie for your unselfish service!!!!!!!
