Working in a different city you sometimes lose contact with your home. Looking at the memorial page and seeing a fallen Brother from a city in which you live causes you to think and remember the person and the city. I know Corporal Andrews will be missed not just by his family and fiends but the city as well. But Is family blue will always remember him. In the Heavens and the Earth. God Bless.

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiancé Dennis. Everytime I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the man they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Corporal Andrews, especially to his wife. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. You will be in my thoughts.

From reading all the reflections left for Anthony, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Anthony's life and the MAN that he was. Remember that Anthony's life was about so much more than the way he died. Anthony will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Corporal Andrews, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my fiancé Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been three years but we still miss him terribly.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

I was crushed the day I heard Tony passed away. I couldn't believe it. Another brother from my unit gone. That's what we are is family.I was Tony's platoon medic, while in Iraq I mostly rode in the same truck as Tony because that is where I felt the safest out of his squad. I remember him as a very kind hearted man and dedicated to his uniform and country. He was also a very respectable family man anytime we had a conversation he always referred back to his wife and children. He was a great soldier and friend. I will always cherish the time I was able to be around him. -Petey

TO MY BROTHER,MY HERO. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DECRIBE HOW PROUD OF YOU THAT I AM AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY IS. YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO GO BEFORE ME. MY HEART WILL ACHE FOREVER. YOU WERE MY LITTLE BROTHER.THOUGH THE WORD LITTLE DOESN'T FIT YOU. BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS DID THINGS IN SUCH A BIG WAY. YOU WERE SO PROUD TO DO THAT.WE WERE ALL SO PROUD TO. I'M SO GLAD YOU FOLLOWED YOUR DREAMS.YOU WERE THE VERY BEST AT EVERYTHING THAT YOU DID.BEING A SOLDIER,POLICE OFFICER,DADDY AND ESPICIALLY MY BROTHER. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A VOID IN MY LIFE. AND ALL OF OUR LIVES. YOU WILL BE MISSED,BUT ALWAYS REMEMBERED. REST IN PEACE MY SWEET BROTHER. YOUR BIG SISTER.

Tony,

What can I say Brother? We graduated high school together.(C.F. Vigor Class of 1991) We had a lot of good times along the way. I (and I'm sure all of our friends as well) will never forget some of the things we did and shared throughout our journey to becoming responsible adults. I remember being there for the going away party when you joined the Army. As I think back now I remember so much that I had forgotten about before. Then we both became police officers and our lives took different paths. We lost touch with each other but, I think we both kept up with what was going on in each other's lives through our mutual friends. I always wished you the best. I was happy to know you made the SWAT team and a little bit jealous as well. In your short time here with us which ended so abruptly without explanation you accomplished so much. You served your country, you served your community, you got married and started a family and you did all this with Pride, Honor, and Dignity which will always be remembered. Rest in Peace, Brother, You Will Never Be Forgotten.....as the saying goes " Go walk a beat on Heaven's streets, you've done your time in Hell"...I'll see ya on the other side one day!!!

To the family, friends, and officers that knew Cpl Andrews, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Then the rainstorm came, over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my, belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time through a prayer, to me
And all around me became still

I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Through the rainstorm came sanctuary
And I felt my spirit fly
I had found all of my reality
I realize what it takes

'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name

Well I try to say there's nothing wrong
But inside I felt me lying all along
But the message here was plain to see
Believe me

'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name

Love can help me know my name.
