Yesterday your daughter had her friends over to the house for a pumkin patch party. I have never seen her so excited about anything till then! She was so funny that it reminded me of you! She helped make the cup cakes and that was a site to see. Then today we took your fall flowers and she took my camera and said "I need to take Daddy's picture. It breaks my heart to see her have to go thru life without you here. But she is so smart she knows that your way in the sky and with Jesus. We are trying to teach her everyone's name and your name is "Daddy Jesus". Thank you for being at her side daily and guiding her down this tough road that she faces, for that I am very thankful. There is not a day goes by that you are not in my mind. For the past few weeks you have been there for me and I know that it is you helping me through these next few weeks, because I need you and you know that. Please keep watch over us here until it is our turn to join you there. I will always miss you and love you and can't wait till our homecoming day.

Jason,
Today, Jayden and I took a letter to the mailbox for you and Jesus. Jayden wrote it herself but I'm sure the two of you will understand every word of it. She says the mail lady will take it way high in the sky and you will grab it. She has such an incredible imagination. You can rest assured in knowing that her mother has told her all about her loving Daddy. We will always keep you alive in our hearts until we are reunited, again. Still loving and missing you.

Words cannot express our sorrow for the loss of great Men like you. Young, strong and, signed up just to protect us.

You could have chosen ANY career. Electrician, teacher, mechanic yet, You chose to serve and serve bravely.
I live nowhere near where you met your maker, Yet, I still feel compelled to comment.

Prayers are with you and yours. I thank you for deciding on your chosen profession.
Although your career was short, you made a difference, and for that, We can never repay you.
May you rest in peace and, reside in the magnificent splendor and glory of Gods Kingdom. You Sir, have earned that privalege!
I thank you!

Today me and your daughter went to the Cops Survivor's picnic where we joined with others that were left behind to carry your legacy on. As your daughter played with other children that were left behind without there father sadden me to know that there was more children just like her. She had the time of her life today as she played bingo and with water ballons. Many days I wish we did not have to attend events like these, and that you were still here with us as our HUSBAND AND FATHER. But we know God had a better plan for you, and we will carry on still with the same love as your wife and daughter.
Days that we need you here seem like those are the days we need you the most. When we visit your Dad and Step-Mom it seems empty without you there. But your Daughter enjoys every minute with your Dad as you did. She has so many important people in her life like my parents, other friends, and close family that she loves so much. We know that the space you would fill is still so empty and can never be replaced. I want to tell you that each precious day you were in my life means so much that is something that NO one could ever had but us and only us as husband and wife. We miss you and love you still so much and not a day goes by that we do not think of you.
With much love,

Jason,
Today is one of those days I miss you so much. You don't know how much I wish I could pick up the phone to let you know I need you and you would be there. I could use your smile and humor because you always made everything seem alright. You will always be in my heart. I draw stength from the memories which are still so fresh in my mind and always will be. Love and Miss you always, Carolyn

Jason, I just had to let you know just how precious Jayden really is. We had the usual 4th of July cookout. Jayden was playing with her toy phone, she brings it to me and tells me to talk. I ask her who it was and she said,"it's Daddy. I talked as if you were on the line and handed it back to her. Later I heard her say bye, Daddy. That little girl can pull on our heart strings.
We were at the beach a few weeks ago. All the people around us spoke of how cute and full of life she was. She would tell them, "I Jayden Scott". Loved to play putt-putt. The last day we were there she hit a hole in one. Of course, she always said she won, anyway.
Just wanted to say we still Love and miss you.

With the passing of Mamaw Scott, those great childhood memories of us playing in the yard resurface.

You brought a true joy to life that is deeply missed.

My Dear Jason,
You are still in my heart and thoughts and prayers. I still remember and cherish all the special times we have shared here on this earth and someday we will share special moments again in Heaven. I will try to be patient down here because someday in Gods timing we will be a complete family again. I am so proud of you and love you so much....

Jason,

You were on my mind today and I thought I should write. I'm sure that you had a beautiful reunion with your Grandmother, Lorene, in heaven this week. I saw Jayden at the funeral home last night, she was dressed in a darling litte dress. She had the hiccups and was grinning from ear to ear - that grin reminded me of you.

Today being a holiday me and your daughter just wanted to say Happy Memorial Day! Many holidays have went by in the past three years and all of them you have been truly missed by us plus many more of your close family and friends. Today most family's have a cookout or something but today we stop to think of you and how much you are loved and missed. Your SMILE and laughter will always be in the summer breeze and the tears will always be in the rain showers. Just wanted you to know that both of us love you and always will and that will never ever change. As things change here on earth nothing will ever change the love that we have for you and that empty place in our hearts that is left without you here...
WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS,

Jason,
There is never a day that goes by that I don't think about you. Even after 3 years the hurt and pain is just as strong as the day our lives changed forever. There are so many precious memories I have-I feel so blessed and thankful God allowed me to have a wonderful son for 24 yrs on Earth and forever in my heart. The most precious memory of all is the day you gave your life to the Lord and your Baptism.
Michael remembers you and will talk to your picture that stays on his bedside table-he asks hard questions that Jayme always answers the best way a loving mother can. Michael will even tell stories to Torye about their Uncle Jason and she will listen and laugh and try to say your name.Michael always tells me to talk to you when he sees me crying "because Jason always watches over us, Mamaw, and listens to us".
My memories help me get through the days-memories of each of your treasured Mother Day cards, especially the homemade ones; the times you would come home at lunch and watch I Love Lucy and just laugh;coming home from each football game wanting to make sure we had taped the game, the time you scored the touchdown for the other team when you were 5; watching Papaw Kirkland teaching you to drive in the field; having to come to school almost everyday in Kindergarden because you tried to entertain everyone in your class and the other classes. The most precious memory of all, Jason, was hearing I love you Mom while you're squeezing me tight in one those hugs only you could give. Memories are the one thing no one can ever take from me.
I love you My Precious Precious Son

Today is my birthday and I got the sweetest present from Jayden this morning. She called and sang happy birthday to me. Then, she said ,"when I get to heaven, I will sing Jesus Loves Me to my Daddy and Jesus". How wonderful it would have been for her to have her Daddy with her in person. It is a proven fact that you are always near in spirit. Love and miss you, Jason.

Deputy Scott and family- my heart felt prayers go out to all of you. I heard the story of your passing from a dispatcher at my department who knew you. she told me what a wonderful person you are and how sad she was to see you pass. we enjoyed a good cry together reflecting on fallen heros like yourself. she is probally one of the best dispatchers at our department because of what happened to you, she makes sure that she does her part to make sure we go home safe at the end of the night........
