Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jason Michael Scott

Dear Jason,

It snowed yesterday and it was so beautiful. My thoughts were of you all day as the snow fell. I remembered how much you loved playing in the snow and of course the snow cream.
Whether it be putting snow down someone's back or hitting them with a snowball you always had fun with it.Jayden played in the snow making 4 snowmen. I could picture you and her playing together having a blast. There is never a day that I don't think about you and remember something you said or did. Loving you, missing you and remembering you will always be a part of our lives. Love , Carolyn and Dad

Time has gone by s fast but it seems like yesterday that you stood in my kitchen and gave me a hug that has never left me and the way that it was a time that just stood still that day is now inbeded and embraced in my heart
For the next morning you were gone from our lives but you left a part of your heart with me. You have such a beautiful daugther and she is so much like you when you were little,Jason you would be so proud of her she looks like you too. This is my first time writing to your page as you know I am just learning and I know how you are laughing at me now. I am reminded of you every day when
Chris puts on his uniform and walks out the door I know that you are with him too. And he sometimes tells me about his day and he thinks of you and what you would do. So watch over him too as I know you do Lots of Love and another special hug is sent to you and loved ones above.

Another Christmas has passed without you,but memories of the one's past still remain. We miss you so much but we have alot of special memories that bring us laughter and comfort.Jayden had the best Christmas ever. As she opened her presents we could sense you watching her. She just has a way of making everything she does fun. She was in a play at school and church and enjoyed every minute of it.She makes it interesting to watch because you never know what she is going to do. She truly enjoys life just like her Daddy. We know how much you enjoyed the Rook games on New Year's Eve as you will be here with us in our hearts tonight. We start our new year missing you and watching as your little girl turns another year older. As always we will remember the time we had together.
We love and miss you, Dad and Carolyn

Christmas comes and goes again, another year will soon begin, but no matter how many holidays come to pass there is still always one thing missing in our lives and that is you. So many memories of these holidays spent with you are now places in our hearts that we can never forget. Happy times and laughter you made each one special. Now that you left us a beautiful little girl we have new memories to make that you now watch from above. Thinking of you on these special days and remembering how sweet our past holidays were spent with you.
Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
Always in my heart.

Jason,
It was another Christmas without you. The sadness is still with us and probably will stay with us forever. We do, however, have Jayden to brighten the holidays for us. Jason, you would be so proud of that little girl. She opened her gifts and said thank you for every present. We call her "Precious" because its such a fitting name for her. MERRY CHRISTMAS and LOVE FOREVER from me and Ricky.

As we sat down today to have Thanksgiving dinner there was always one person that loved it the most and that was you. Thinking of how many things we are thankful for, one of the most important thing was that you are part of our family and how blessed we are to have you in it! Nothing could ever replace the fun filled times we had on Thanksgiving & how you made each one so special! Just to let you know your Daughter is carrying on that legacy for you very well! As another Holiday passes without your physical presence here we know that you were with us in spirit and in love. For all the things that we could be thankful for it would be the man that started our family and the man that was loved by us so much.
Happy Thanksgiving,

Dear Jason,
This is a very special day.The day you were born. Happy Birthday! So many memories come to mind today. Birthday's were always important to you and were not to be forgotten.I wish you were here so I could bake you another big chocolate chip cookie. This in one of those days we can't get through without tears falling. It doesn't seem to matter how many birthdays go by, each one is just as hard to get through as the last. We celebrate this day just as all the one's in the past because we are so very blessed to have you in our lives for 24 years and now in our hearts until we see you again. Enjoy your Balloons!!!!!

Happy birthday to a man that deserves the best birthday of all. To a wonderful person that brought with him a lot of joy, smiles, laughter, and most of all love. The man that is thought of so dearly and loved by so many. That is Jason the most wonderful person in the world! As me and your daughter sings HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you we know that you hear every word, you see ever tear that we shed, and most of all you see that empty hole in our heart that burns for the day I see you again, and that your Daughter gets to give you a BIG hug and kiss for the very first time! (What a day that will be!) I hope that your Birthday today is left with you knowing that we love you miss you so much and that all our Birthday love is sent to you in a very special way.
With all of my love,

I came across your name among the many pages of heroes listed at this site and I wanted to stop and leave a reflection. I know that those that love you dearly think of you every day as you are the first thought they have when they wake each morning and you are the last thought they have at the end of the day before they drift off to sleep. They will forever carry you in their heats as you are a true hero and heroes never die. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones and those still out on patrol guarding over the thin blue line. You have not been forgotten.

Jason,

I have been thinking about you alot today. Missing your smile, your giggle and your mischievous ways.Alot of things have been going on lately that so remind me of you. Sometimes I laugh and cry at the same time. We took Jayden to the Loudon / Sweetwater ballgame Fri night which brought back alot of good memories. She could not decide if she was for the red team or the blue team as she would clap for both. I told her you played for the red team and she said my Daddy did. That settled it she was for the red team. She is an amazing little girl. From the time we entered the gate she was skipping, bouncing, smiling and talking to everyone. She is so like you, never meets a stanger and really likes to talk to people. Joni teases and says Jayden got her ears but you are responsible for everything else.I wish you were here. She is playing soccer now and she scored a goal last week. She has some good stories to tell about pre-school.You would be so proud of her. I am sure you will get to tell her that one day. You are missed so much.
Love You, Carolyn

Well today was our baby girl's first day of Pre-K. She was so excited. The only thing was she didn't want to get out bed. She walked in and put her back pack in her cubby and sat right down and started coloring. Tears fell as I watched her in minutes grow up so fast just yesterday she was just learning how to walk. I know that you would have loved to be there with us on her first day, but you are there in heart and spirit watching over her making sure she is safe. Well I hope your day was filled with much joy watching her be a big girl. Keep in mind you are to keep a close watch over her while she is at school. We missed you bunches today and like always. With all of my love.

Just thought I would right since our baby is growing up. We go today to register for pre-school. She is so excited! I think she will have a good time till she finds out early we have to wake up! Hope you are keeping a watch over her and making sure that she does good in school, and not getting into to much stuff like someone I know! Still in our hearts forever. The best DADDY anyone could ever have.
