Reflections for Game Warden Wesley Warren Wagstaff

MAY GOD BLESS FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COWORKERS. REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER.

CHIEF RONNIE WATFORD-RETIRED
JEFFERSON POLICE DEPT,S.C.

Rest in Peace brother we'll take it from here.

Officer Ryan Leach
Grand Blanc Township MI

Officer Wagstaff, thank you for your sacrifice. The enforcement of game, fish, and wildlife laws is an important link in maintaining a civil society, not to mention the preservation of our God-given resources. I've also known of some really bad wanted characters who were caught by game wardens doing their job. It takes a hellava lawman to approach people out in the middle of nowhere who are carrying guns. Rest easy brother. You're home now.

Special Agent
BICE

May God be with your family, fellow officers, and friends during this time of need.May God also rest his hand upon your shoulders.
Officer Wagstaff you have done your time. Thanks for serving i am sure you have made an impact on many people's lives.Your fellow officers can take it from here.

Sister of a WPD officer
Wellston Police Dept.

Please remember the fallen officers we have lost. Remember the men and women who died trying to make this world a safer and better place for us all to live in. Thank you Game Warden Wagstaff for a job well done. Please continue to watch over us and protect us as only you can. You will forever be at our side and in our hearts.

For those of you who still have loved ones with us please take the time to tell them how much you appreciate and care about them.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

All of us from the Support our Officers WolfPack Family offer
our prayers and sympathies to the family and friends of Officer Wagstaff. Our room is in honor of one of our chatters who was a k-9 officer in Pennsylvania, PA. Her and her k-9 partner were killed on June 1st and Officer Rookie passed on June 2nd.
She was a native american and we all mourn her death, but she was a very strong person and showed alot of love, we therefore dedicated a special page in our community for Officers Down also.
We send all of our love, strength and support to the family and friends.
MAY GOD BLESS THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE IN ANY DIVISION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. It is because of these wonderful people that we can depend on so we can sleep safe at night.
we encourge all to go up to any law enforcement officer, emt or paramedic and just say thank you for keeping us safe.

Don't grieve for me, for now I am free,
I am following the path GOD laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh…to love…to work…to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
For I found peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
These things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
For I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undo grief.
So lift up your heart and share with me,
GOD wanted me now...He has set me free.

Remember...to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die

Rest in Peace Brother...you will never be forgotten

“My Badge at Heart”

We band of Brothers and Sisters have fought so very hard
Protected our streets, our people, their homes
Protected the children, the aged and the tired
Protected each other, our brothers and our sisters
We prayed every night and every day since we swore to protect and uphold
God, let us return to those who too are so brave
Our mothers and fathers our brothers and sisters
God let me once again hold my wife, my sons and my daughters
Allow me to picnic with my family, celebrate a wedding, and sing happy birthday
God, please let me live to teach my sons to play catch and to watch my daughters dance
Please let me grow old with love, compassion, and strength
But most of all God, if you need me to lay down my life for another
Please, please tell my family, my loved ones, and my friends
I died not in vain, I sought no heroics
I died doing what I was proud to do
I died being who I was proud to be
I died, my badge at heart

Dedicated to all Blue Angels and their families
