Reflections for Police Officer Brian Joe Ramey

12/31/01
As the year closes, I think of the shock and sorrow I felt learning of Brian's death months ago. I came to know him as a young Police Explorer in Tabor City, NC. Brian was a good guy with a hunger for Law Enforcement. I lost touch with him when I moved to TN, so I don't know if he ever knew that I became an officer myself.
...To Brian...
I did it, brother! The little gal from Tabor City is batting in the big leagues now! I just hope I am as good of a player as you were. Sleep well, brother. Know that you will never be forgotten and that you influenced the lives of many.

Brian ~ 12/01 ~ I still think about you every day. And as you now know, I have something to remind me of you for a lifetime. I miss you desperately and I love you deeply.

Sir, God knows you did your best, you saved lives that day, and although you lost yours, comfort comes in knowing, you were a "peacemaker" and to our God, that rank says, "You shall be called a son of God"

Rest in peace now, another tour ends forever, but the memories you left will surely comfort those who so loved and respected you. God will comfort those heavy hearts, and may you be an angel on their shoulders every day....Thank You for the sacrifice....
