Dax
K9 Dax was shot and killed while assisting the Special Assignments Unit search a home of a homicide suspect on West Carson Road.
The subject opened fire on Dax with a 12-gauge shotgun, killing him. The man subsequently shot and killed after shooting and wounding two officers.

There were many others after you but none could measure up, I suppose that is my fault. I often pass by locations we worked and remember the times. I will never forget. You were a warrior and it was my honor to work you. Afterwards, I was told God has a plan for us ...but we would not do heavens work well. God will certainly send us out to patrol again, searching for demons on the mean streets of Hell.
