This was my Grandfather's brother. My Grandfather was Harry S. McMillion of Summersville, WV. I grew up hearing about the bravery of my Uncle Bill as we affectionately called him. The McMillion kinfolk said I favored Uncle Bill with my Irish Red hair and my blue eyes. REST IN PEACE Uncle Bill, we love and honor your bravery and service to the wonderful State of WV.

On this the 87th anniversary of your death your sacrifice and service are remembered.
Rest in peace as you patrol with St. Michael and all fallen
heroes in heaven.
Your bravery and dedication in facing challenges of the times

My father, James A. McMillion served with the WVa State Police in the late 50's. I was told Pvt. McMillion was related to my grandfather. I have touched Williams name on the National Law enforcement memorial in Washington DC. I am proud to carry on the family tradition, and will always remember the sacrifice he made.
