My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

He was born 1869 in Chicago. His father, Jerry Kuebler, was born in Switzerland and served in the Civil War. His mother was born in Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany. His brother Fred Kuebler was a Chicago Police Officer for over 20yrs. The family worked to make this country a better place.
