Investigator Gravely was my grandfather. I am his youngest son Harry's daughter, Patricia. I became a Deputy Sheriff myself in the 80's. It's unbelievable to me that there was a recent comment commending my grandfather. Thank you to those who commented.

TM Gravely was my grandfather. He died 13 years before I was born. Our family is extremely proud of his service and sacrifice for Virginia.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
