Joe, while you died before I was born your mother was my great-grandmother and was such a wonderful example for me and I just wanted to say thank you for being a hero and for serving.

I was three year old niece, Judy, when you were killed. I only remember the day we were notified of your death. You are still in my thoughts and will visit your Memorial in Washington soon. You are still a hero to me. Thanks to all of those in uniform who still protect our very lives by risking those.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Officer Dennis, On this 61st anniversary of your murder, I wish to thank you for your service. After all these years, it's good to know that a site such as this has kept your memory alive. The individual who murdered you is nothing more than a footnote in the story of your life. He was meaningless, you never will be.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

I am privileged to be the first to leave a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 60th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my home state and the birthplace of my son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered

I am glad to read the reflection from your son saying that your fellow officers continued to see that your family was taken care of.
