Patrolman John E. Creedon was senselessly killed 109 years and 1 day ago, and his devotion to duty as earned him the title "Hero". Patrolman Creedon will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in Heaven.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Creedon and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Growing up in Utica, & being employed in the Public Safety field, I have always had the utmost respect for members of the Utica Police Department. I'm sure you have now met up with your fellow Officer, Tom Lindsey up in heaven. Please protect the members of your police agency. Keep them strong in this time of need.

An ambush at my husband's police station brought me here to this site.
I read your story and wanted to say thank you for your sacrifice.
My great-great grandmother lived in Utica in the area you were killed until 1917. Perhaps she saw you walking your beat. Maybe she rested easier knowing fine men like you protected her and her family.
Thank you.
Rest in peace.
