Reading this not only makes my stomach turn, but it makes my heart hurt to think that there are so many in our world who wouldn’t think twice about hurting another human. A human being who has family too and they were just doing their JOB. However, without people like you who put on the badge everyday and defend or protect others from this kind of evil, we wouldn’t be able to walk the streets and enjoy our lives. Thank you for your service. May God grant your family peace through this difficult time. It’s not easy!!! Trust me. May you RIP sir.

The true heroes of the criminal justice system go to work daily armed mostly with their wits and courage.
No braver man or woman walks than a Corrections Officer who's city streets are completely filled with the worst society has to offer.

May God watch over the Family and Fellow Officers that put their lives on the line for us everyday. We all lose when one of these heroes fall. And this one was a terrible loss. A man who without care for his own safety did such a noble thing. This convict should never see the light of day again. I hope his family will find some type of peace during this time of mourning. God will not let them down. Keep Faith and know he is in a better place.

A corrections officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
