Reflections for Patrolman Jeremiah Joseph O'Connor

Patrolman O'Connor, it has been 73 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your law enforcement service.

I am not a blood relationship to Officer O'Connor, but my son Alex Ander is his 2Great Grandson and I am doing research for his family tree. I was so glad to find this in a Google search and appreciate the memorial provided.

There is also a story that Lawrence Officer Daly talks about this very memorial in The Valley Patriot that may help provide a picture and some information.

Patrolman O'Connor, thank you for your service to the people of Lawrence and the Commonwealth as a whole. I hope and pray that the person who caused your death learned from what happened and showed remorse and made something good of his life.

God Bless you, Brother and may your continued rest be ever peaceful. I am grateful to see you honored here.
