It was during that internship I decided that Law Enforcement was the only thing I wanted to do with my life and Bart played a role in inspiring me to the career I have now. I’ll never forget and I will always be thankful to him for that.

I was blessed to know Bart, or as we all called him, Mr. Hart. Our paths crossed on many nights as I was working patrol in the city. Mr. Hart was, and always will be, one of the finest officers I have been afforded the opportunity to work with. From fixing his "old man" coffee to letting all the young guys vent, Mr. Hart was a fine example of what we should all like to portray. He loved his job, but most importantly, he loved his God and family. We will always remember you bud.
