Reflections for Detective William J. Holfester

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect and you will always be honored and revered. I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. We will never orget our 9/11 heroes.

Rest In Peace

Tears are constant for me of the sacrifice Billy and many NYPD and Fire Rescue that came to our aid that day. Billy, his mother Marion, and sisters and are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Now that you have been united with all our brothers and sisters who also gave their all in serving God's children at the scene of 911 know you will never be forgotten nor will your dedication and honor in your service. Yor family will be cared for by those brothers and sisters left behind. One day we will all be with you in His heavenly kingdom serving His children there as you are now.
