Reflections for Police Officer Thomas William "Tom" Clark
Tom,
I can't believe that it's been six years since you've been gone. I remember that night like it was yesterday and I will never forget.
You have a very strong and beautiful family. The girls are a constant reminder of you. The way Madie says certain things, and just look at Lizzie...she is a mini Tom. And Jean is a great mom. She keeps the girls in line...kinda how she kept you in line.
Continue to watch over us Tommy. Love Ya!!!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the sixth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Your memory will always be honored and revered for time never diminishes respect. I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

Tom, As today comes and goes, I can still remember as if it was today, getting the phone call. We gave and still are giving Jean and the kids support and they are reaching out and giving support to the long list of survivors who have followed behind. We belong to a group that no one wants to belong to but we are and so we will all be there for each other. RIP Tom, we will always remember you.

Tom ("TC"),
It's been 6 years bro and I still remember leaving swat training and seeing you getting ready for the canine run. We both smiled at each other and then I drove off. God only knows that that would be the last time I saw you alive. I miss you bro and think of those great times in vice! I won't forget those crazy fun times and talks we had. See you again one day when the Lord returns!!

It's times like these I'd love to see that old Ford with the diamond plow on it rolling down the roadway one more time. Happy Holidays my friend.

Daddy,
I just wanted you to know we had a great first week of school. Madie just started 2nd grade, and Lizzie is finally in kindergarden, and we both love it. I wish you were here to watch us get on the bus. We love you and miss you so much.

Tom, you were my brother officer but more importantly my friend. I miss the department softball games and at Woody's after wards with you. You were a good officer but a better husband and father. You are sorely missed all.
PS: Hopefully the lord has taught you how to catch a fly ball.
I miss you pal. God bless you.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Tom. You gave your all for your career and your fellow officers. Your family knows that you gave the ultimate sacrifice doing what you loved. That does not make it easier to get through the days without you, but it does allow us all to remember that you were a proud member of the RPD family/team.

To the family of Officer Clark,
There are no words that I could put to express the sorrow and pain of hearing about Tom's passing.I was Tom's first supervisor on the RPD and he was a pleasure to work with.
He was very ambitious and had his sights on higher goals.
He deserves to be honored and given his rightous place as a RPD Past Hero. Rest in Peace Tom, You are still in my prayers.

To his daughters and wife, know that Tom is watching over us and smiling down when those warm rays of sunlight touch your face. I visit this site alot, in support of fallen officers and their families. This just tears my heart out to see loved ones so hurt for thier lost loved ones. it makes me want to cry, cause I really can feel your pain!
But I was led here by the passing of my cousin and god! I was born to serve god and speard his word. Please, I pray you all have found some comfort in god! God loves you more than anything and all he is asking is your love in return. That is something that costs us nothing, but maybe the only thing some of us has to give. He deserves that! He desires that!
To officer Clark....You are a hero, now and forever! I only hope I can shake your hand one day in heaven.
