For many years , I wondered what happened to you my old friend. You was a stand-up guy true to your God ,never falling into temptation, someone I always admired for your belief in God I remember that time we went to Paris , with a USO tour looking fromthe Eiffel tower in the city of Paris. Mike, you never gave up your faith in your relation to the guys who always tease you my heart is so sad today to learn of your death. Mike your faith inspired me remember always you and your strong will to serve God and never give in to drink or any other things that the guys tried to pressure you into doing. So many years you done well my old friend I hope to see you in heaven when I get there your friend 68 bravo 10 engine mechanic. Dennis , 1984-85 Fulda, Germany . 11Th ACR ,CAS

Dear Mike
I was setting here today thinking about you buddy. It been almost ten years now since you left and everyday feels like it just happened. I miss the missions we were on and your sense of humor. I still have that picture of you standing next to that Virgin Mary statue as we were gearing up for a patrol. I sometimes think it was a sign of things to come. I hope you are happy in heaven because things down here has gone to heck. Well buddy, someday we'll meet up again. Until then I miss you.

Dear Mike

I was sitting here today thinking of you and missing your funny smile and quirky jokes. I remember the fun and the laughs. I am sorry Mike that I could not have been there for you at the end. I came to the hospital but they wouldnt let me see you. I couldnt bring myself to go to your funeral because my pain of your loss was and is still deep. You were a good caring friend. Every day that I go on patrol i think of you. You will never be forgotten Mike. Your friend Robbie.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

Mike, it's hard enough when an officer/deputy is killed in the line of duty. But when a friend is lost doing what we all love to do, it's even harder to swallow. Every day I think about the smile you had on your face the day you told me "I got the job!" You keep that smile my friend, keep that smile. I miss you Mike, look down and keep us all safe until we meet again. God bless you!!!
