Reflections for Police Officer Bryan Scott Hurst

15 years have passed and I think about your selfless act all of the time. Numerous people were saved because of your bravery. A lot has changed over the years, but you are never forgotten and your sacrifice is never taken for granted. I continue to be thankful for you, for the opportunity to know you, for the opportunities you gave me in life, and for continuing to look over all of us. God bless you Bryan.

I can’t believehow the years have flown by since your EOW. I continue to honor you as a hero and hold you and all the memories close to my heart. Gone but never forgotten Bryan. All the things from Police Week in DC are still in my car. You would be so proud of Malia. She is just beautiful and smart and talented. I know you cheered in heaven when your Buckeyes won the Rose Bowl. Continue to watch over us down here. I also pray for all those who continue to mourn your loss. Love and hugs to you.

Supporting the procession through Westerville brought back so many memories of the day you saved my life. I know you are with the two police officers in a heavenly place. I will never ever stop thinking about what you did for us! I wish we had a different outcome. I pray that these people understand that we need the police and they are great people.
Praying for all of your brothers and sisters in blue this week!

As you EOW approaches I think of you and your act of heroism. With all the bad press lately with police bashing, I want to slap the idiots making such comments, esp. after your bravery. Please continue to watch over me, Bryan. Gone, but NEVER forgotten.
