Reflections for Officer Anthony Barbieri

Officer Barbieri, it has been 74 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your 18 years of law enforcement service.

Lived here 12 yrs this September. I see the Bridge, and the dedication sign from my kitchen window. Sorry it took so long to Google what happened. TPD is among the best I have encountered in Ct. And I've lived in many towns. Crazy way to go

Malcolm, Torrington citizen.

To Anthony

No officer listed on the ODMP should be without a reflection. I am priviledged to be the first to add to yours. Your sacrifice occurred many years before I joined the force. Yet I was deeply honored to attend the LEO Memorial Services last year when your name was added to the wall. You will always be remebered, by the members of the Torrington Police Department that pass by your photograph each day while reporting for duty. May God bless you and your family.
